With support from Puget Sound Energy (PSE) and Bonneville Environmental Foundation (BEF), we will be bringing the KidWind Challenge to Central Washington this spring!

At the KidWind Challenge, students design and construct small-scale wind turbines from scratch. We bring our custom-built, portable wind tunnel to the competition - where student teams test their wind turbines to see who can produce the most power! We will have some great cash prizes this year, as well as t-shirts for all participants.

The KidWind Challenge is FREE for students to participate, and open to any students from grade 4 through grade 12. We will have two separate age divisions for the competition - Middle School (4-8 grade) and High School (9-12 grade).
