Our policies for returns, shipping, POs, and orders are subject to change.
WindWise customers: KidWind handles all WindWise orders. Whenever the name KidWind is mentioned, it also applies to WindWise orders. The forms on this page will send you to KidWind. Please don't be alarmed.
Returns and Replacements
All return and replacement policies apply for 90 days, beginning the day your product arrives.
If it's KidWind's fault. . .
We guarantee our products 100%. If a part is broken upon arrival, or it is missing parts, we will either replace it, repair it, or send out the missing parts as fast as we possibly can. For broken parts, we will issue replacements or repairs ONLY for normal use* of main product parts*. We will only send returns or replacements via the shipping method that you used to purchase the product.

If the product does not meet expectations. . .
If the materials you received do not meet the expectations stated in the product description page of the KidWind website, you are entitled to a full refund, including shipping. You must return the product in original condition to receive a refund.
If the product(s) you received do not meet your own expectations, you are entitled to a full refund of the value of the product(s). You must return the product in original condition to receive a refund.

Re-stocking fee for purchases over $1000
Due to labor and other costs associated with higher value orders, a 10% re-stocking fee for any returned items totaling over $1000 per order will apply, unless the returned items are broken upon delivery.
Order processing and fulfillment
1) Orders under $1000 placed on our website with a credit card:
These orders will be processed by 12pm central time on business days. After 12pm central time, these orders will be processed the following business day. Customers can expect orders to be fulfilled (shipped) within two business days of the processing day.
Only orders placed before 12pm (noon) central time with expedited shipping methods (not UPS Ground or USPS Priority) will be fulfilled (shipped) that day. If a same day shipment is absolutely necessary and it's after 12pm central time, please call 877-917-0079 and we'll try to accommodate you.
All customers receive email notification when order items are fulfilled (shipped).
Customers will be notified as soon as possible if we cannot meet any of these expectations, or if there are other issues, including back ordered items.

2) All other orders (including purchase orders):
- All the policies from #1 apply, except:
- a) These orders will be fulfilled within 10 business days, not 2 business days.
- b) If an expedited shipping method is requested, we may not be able to ship the order that business day or the next business day. We will call to arrange a reasonable delivery date.

Business days are M-F, non-holidays.
Cut off time for shipping on a business day is 12pm.
- Shipping Methods/Approximate delivery dates (from day of purchase):
- UPS Ground: Usually ships within 2 business days: Usually arrives within 7 business days
- UPS 3 Day Select: Ships within same business day: Arrives in 3-4 business days
- UPS 2nd Day Air: Ships within same business day: Arrives in 2-3 business days
- UPS Next Day Air: Ships within same business day: Usually arrives in 1-2 business days
- USPS Priority: Usually ships within 2 business days: Usually arrives within 5 business days
- USPS Express: Usually ships same business day: Usually arrives within 1-3 business days
Notes: If you are located in Minnesota, Wisconsin, or Iowa, choosing UPS Ground is the same as choosing UPS 2nd Day Air.
Backordered items: If there are backordered items in your order, we will contact you as soon as we process the order.
Estimated costs: You can do a cost estimate on our website. Visit our store and add the items you want to your cart. When you are finished, click "checkout" and fill in your city, state, and zipcode. You should see shipping costs below.
Freight Shipments: We are able to facilitate freight shipments for large orders. If you place an order that requires a freight shipment, we will contact you. If you require a freight shipment, call (877) 917-0079.
Package Intercepts: If your package has already shipped, and you need it to go to a different shipping address other than the shipping address specified on your order, we can process a package intercept for $50. A package intercept is not guaranteed, nor will it adhere to the estimated shipping times. If you need to intercept a package, please call Chad at (877) 917-0079 ext. 115.

Arrival times and shipping methods available vary.
Duty, taxes, and fees: Sometimes countries charge additional duties and fees. You will be responsible for these additional charges. If a shipments' duty is not paid by the customer, we can refund you for the cost of the product minus the cost KidWind must pay to return it. Unfortunately this might be more than the original shipping amount. You will not be refunded for your original shipping cost.
For Canadian customers: If you were not home when UPS attempted delivery, you can call 1-800-742-5877 to pay for the duty for your package or sort out the delivery.

How to submit a PO
- Send your purchase order ONLY 1 of 4 possible ways:
- 1) Fax a PO: 208-485-9419
- 2) Email a PO: sales(at)kidwind.org
- 3) Mail a PO: KidWind Purchase Orders, 800 Transfer Rd. Suite 30B, Saint Paul, MN 55114
- 4) Submit a PO on our website. Head to our shop. At checkout, select PO. Have a PO number ready

Please indicate a due date on your purchase order. Give us a call to arrange delivery dates.
Changes to a placed order
Once you submit an order, it is final. Our shipping team processes orders quickly. Therefore, you may need to be charged additional shipping if your original order has been shipped. If an order has been shipped, we cannot replace or remove items. This will be considered a return (see above return policy), and you will have to fill out the form below and check that it is a "return".

We will do our best to honor the Customer Notes in your order. We cannot guarantee any changes or additions to the order. To ensure any changes, please call us (877) 917-0079.
- * normal use - using the product as instructed by the included manual (if product arrived with a manual). This does not include aggressive use (i.e. someone forced a part and bent it or broke it).
- * main product parts - these are parts that are hard and not meant to be broken, like the crimping hub. We don't consider consumable parts (such as blades or dowels) main product parts. However, if materials such as blades or dowels are broken upon receiving the materials, we will replace them.
